Health & Wellness Programs
Programs at the Maumee Senior Center include health and
wellness programs and services. We offer exercise classes,
nutrition information and health screenings. There is also a macular degeneration support group, a widow/widower social group, and numerous other social functions. Noon meals are served Monday through Friday for a minimal donation for those 60 years and older.
The Senior Center is a focal point for information
on commuity resources for older adults and their
families and we assist in accessing these resources.
Volunteer opportunities are available at the Center
and in the community for those wishing to become
more involved. Our recently remodeled center is a
great recreational facility with a friendly atmosphere
waiting for you to enjoy.

The Maumee Senior Center is partially funded by the City of Maumee and the Lucas County Senior
Services Levy, administered through the Area Office on Aging of Northwest Ohio. Community and
Center fundraisers are held periodcally to support our many programs and services. There are no
membership requirements, and donations to the Center are gratefully accepted.
