Seniors Safari's Gone Country!
Sept. 21 at the Toledo Zoo, Nairobi Events Pavilion
10 am - 2 pm
Lunch tickets: $2.50 seniors, $5.50 non-seniors. BBQ Lunch served at 11:30 am and 12:15 pm. Free day for Seniors: park free and enjoy the animals. Health screening. Tickets are on sale through Friday, Sept, 10. at Senior Center or Area Office on Aging.

Historic Home Tour
Sat, October 9 / 12 - 5 pm
This year's tour will feature homes in the eastern River Road corridor from a variety of decades. Include gracious river front estates to hidden cottages tucked in the woods. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 the day of the event. Included is dessert at the Senior Center and a flower show presented by the Maumee Garden Club.

Movie of the Month!
"National Treasure" 
Tues., Sept. 28 at 12:30 p.m.
Modern treasure hunters, search for a chest of riches rumored to have been stashed away by George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Frankling during the Revolutionary War. Starring Nicholas Cage, Diane Kruger, Sean Bean and Harvey Keitel. Sponsored by Heartland of Perrysburg and Perrysburg Commons. Refreshments will be served.

End of Summer BBQ
Fri., Sept. 17 at 5 pm
Chicken BBQ, coleslaw, potato salad and dessert for only $5.50. Entertainment will be provided by Sir Charles, The Crooner. Event is sponsored by Kingston Residence of Perrysburg.

Health Care Forum at the Senior Center
Sept. 24 / 9 am - 12:30 pm
Local area businesses exhibit benefits and programs offered to senior. An all-you-can-eat  Pancake Breakfast is offered for $3 from 7:30 - 9:30 am. Flu shots; Blood pressures; Blood sugars; Bone-density scans.

Along Again Social Group
Wednes., Sept. 22 at 5 pm
This social group is designed for persons who have experienced the loss of a spouse and who feel ready to get out and seek new friendships and social interaction. Activities are planned on a monthly basis. The group is going to Swig's Charcuterie and Suds in Perrysburg. Sign up in the event book at the Center. Van transportation is $5, or meet us there.
