Teddy Bear Dressing Program still needs two bears dressed. The Salvation Army distributes the bears to children at holiday time. If you are interested in getting involved, see Mary Beth, Program Director at the Center.

Red Hatters Events
The Maumee All-American Red Hatters Chapter gets together the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
July 15 / Sauder's Village Tour
Meet at 9 a.m. at the Senior Center. The Village Tour is from 10 - 12:15, and the cost is $11. Lunch at Red Barn at 12:30, the cost is $8.79 plus your drink.

July 24 / Sandpiper Boat Trip
Thursday, July 24 from Noon - 2 p.m. Cost is $22 with a box lunch provided.
Alone Again Social Group
July 23, at 5 p.m.
This social group is designed for persons who have experienced the loss of a spouse and who feel ready to get out and seek new friendships and social interaction. Activities are planned on a monthly basis. The group is going to Valleywod Golf Club. There is a $3 transprtation fee if you are going to ride the Senior Center van. The van and car poolers are meeting at 5 p.m. at the Senior Center. Call us if you plan to attend.

Mud Hens Game Outing
Monday, July 28
The Mud Hens will be playing Pawtucket Red Sox. We will be leaving the Center at 11 a.m., game starts at noon. The cost is $10 and includes game ticket and transportation. Lunch is on your own. We have 10 reserved, so hurry and sign up in the event book.
Summer Fair Volunteers Needed
Can you help us build a float? This year we will be partnering up with Union School. The theme this year is "A Night at the Movies." Can you ride on the float? The parade begins at 10 am and we need Seniors to ride on the float. We also need baked goods donated for our booth sale, we always run out before the day is over, so we could use a lot more items this year.
Maumee Senior Center is a Recipient of the Summer Fair Lot Party Profits Again This Year.
We Need Volunteers to Help Out for a Couple of Hours.
On Friday, August 15, we need to staff the Lot Party entrance area selling tickets and checking ID's. This is a fun, social event and an important one for the community. If you can work a shift - 4:30 to 8 p.m. or 8 - 11 p.m. please let Stefanie know.

Monday, July 21 at 1 p.m.

Mary Abbass will be at the Center, giving product discounts to seniors and a percentage of the sales will benefit the Senior Center.
