The Maumee Senior Center if an approved Angel Food Ministry site. Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief to communities across the country. The program offers high quality fresh and frozen groceries at a fraction of the retail price and is open to anyone, regardless of age or income. If you eat, you qualify!
Each month a Basic Food Unit is offered for $30 and contains enough groceries to feed a family of 4 for a week or a senior citizen for a month. Orders are taken at the Maumee Senior Center and then distributed at the Center towards the end of the month. Payment must be made at the time of order. Cash, money orders, cashier's checks and the Ohio Direction Card are all accepted.
